Pacific Islands
Bible College (PIBC) is a small,
accredited four year college serving
Micronesian islanders and others
living in the Pacific rim area.
There are two
resident campuses on Guam and Chuuk
State and three other teaching
facilities (extensions).
Steve is a Spring
semester volunteer faculty member of
the Chuuk campus located on a remote
island (Tol) in the Chuuk State
lagoon.
There are 5 full time faculty
and about 65 students.
The Chuuk campus
has sufficient courses to cover all
of the Bible requirements, and
receive a diploma in Bible.
Students who do
not transfer in their general
education requirements usually go to
Guam to finish their BA.
Since there are no
public services on the island, the
school generates their own power for
the evening and has their own water
system.
